Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe

30-Day Returns · 90-Day Warranty
Cleaner smoke. Cleaner glass. Nothing disposable.
The Calypso Pipe™ is a precision-built, five-piece stainless steel pipe featuring a patent-pending Twist-to-Eject cleanout, an adjustable air intake (carb), and proprietary Flame Stitch Filter Technology (FSFT).
Designed as the ultimate upgrade for the Pirate Pipe Dugout, the Calypso delivers smoother draws, dramatically cleaner water, controlled airflow, and effortless cleanout—all without disposable activated-carbon filters or replacement cartridges.
Why Calypso Outperforms
-
Patent-Pending Twist-to-Eject Cleanout
A simple twist opens the bowl chamber, allowing spent material to be removed quickly and easily. -
Adjustable Air Intake (Carb)
Control the amount of fresh air entering the Calypso to customize the airflow and intensity of every draw. -
Flame Stitch Filter Technology (FSFT)
The reusable mechanical filter helps capture ash and smoke-borne particles while maintaining open airflow. -
Up to 99% Ash Capture
Dramatically reduces the ash reaching your glass, helping keep your water cleaner for longer. -
No Disposable Activated-Carbon Filters
Nothing extra to buy, replace, or throw away. The Calypso provides reusable mechanical filtration without placing disposable charcoal in the smoke path. -
Designed for Smoother, Cleaner Draws
The Calypso redirects smoke through its internal chamber, encouraging particles to collide with and collect along the filter’s textured surfaces. -
Precision Five-Piece Stainless Steel Construction
Durable, corrosion-resistant, washable, reusable, and built for years of real-world use. -
Perfect Fit for the Pirate Pipe Dugout
Seamless storage and serious filtration in a premium, pocket-ready system. -
14mm Glass Compatible
Connects with most standard 14mm glass pieces and works as a powerful ash-catching upgrade.
A Reusable Filter That Seasons With Use
Unlike disposable activated-carbon filters, the Calypso uses a washable stainless steel mechanical filter.
With normal use, a light natural seasoning layer develops across the Flame Stitch surface, helping capture additional fine particles while maintaining airflow. When it’s time for a fresh reset, simply take it apart, wash it, reinstall it, and keep going.
More Control Than a Joint
Pre-rolls are commonly available in 0.35, 0.5, and 1-gram sizes. The Calypso lets you load a comparable amount—or scale down to a much smaller personal portion.
- Approximately three full Calypso bowls: about the same amount as a 1 g pre-roll
- Approximately 1½ full bowls: about the same amount as a 0.5 g pre-roll
- One full bowl: approximately 0.30–0.35 g, similar to a mini pre-roll
- Half bowl: approximately 0.15–0.18 g
- Quarter bowl: approximately 0.075–0.09 g
A joint determines how much you roll. The Calypso lets you decide how much you use. Load a full bowl for a longer session or scale down to a half or quarter bowl—without rolling more than you want or leaving something burning between draws.
Amounts are approximate and vary depending on grind, moisture, material density, and packing.
What’s Included
- Calypso five-piece stainless steel pipe
- Eight stainless steel screens
- Replacement O-rings
Dimensions
- Length: 94 mm
- Diameter: 12.4 mm

Very pleased, hits like a champ, very good quality!!
I appreciate how easy it is to keep clean without slowing down my routine.
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: We’re glad to hear that. Ease of cleaning was intentional — a tool you use daily shouldn’t slow you down. A quick rinse under hot water and a wipe with a paper towel keeps things moving, and isopropyl alcohol works well for a deeper refresh when needed. Built for regular use. Built to maintain just as easily. — Willem David Crew
I notice the solid build right away and it feels reliable every time I use it.
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: That’s exactly what we designed it for. A solid, reliable build you can feel the moment you pick it up — and one that performs consistently over time. It’s built to go the long haul. We also designed it so the O-rings can be replaced, allowing the Dugout to last indefinitely with proper cleaning and maintenance. Appreciate you recognizing the craftsmanship. — Willem David Crew
I like how it keeps everything smooth without making maintenance feel like work.
Love it!!! I would always forget my lighter or my pipe would be clogged, there was always something to think about, not wth the Pirate Pipe! Surprised I have not seen this product in everyone's hands. Actually purchased 2 more to give away to my buddies.
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: Love this — that’s exactly why the Pirate Pipe exists. 🔥 No clogged pipe, no forgotten lighter, no extra gear to think about. It’s a reliable all-in-one metal dugout with a built-in lighter, always ready to go. Grabbing extras for your buddies is the ultimate compliment. Really appreciate the support. ⚓️
i use it with the 8mm tip adapter and a helix tip + armored cap/captive+quartz cap - it's great, comfy, fits into all water pieces, great cooling with the metal filter, easy to clean :) highly recommended to anyone wanting a new dyna or tempest stem!
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: Thank you for the detailed feedback! The Calypso stem was designed to shine with setups exactly like this—Dynavap Helix tip, armored or captive caps, quartz caps, and the 8mm tip adapter. We’re glad you’re enjoying the comfortable feel, excellent cooling from the metal filter, easy cleaning, and seamless compatibility with water pieces. I have been using the Calypso Pipe for a few weeks now, and it quickly became part of my regular rotation. The twist-to-eject cleanout is genuinely satisfying to use and makes maintenance simple, even after multiple sessions.
Awesome and super functional
The Calypso gives a clean crisp hit. It’s easy to clean and I love the versatility. When I used it with my bong it was so smooth. It works perfectly with my Pirate Pipe for when I’m out. 12/10 highly recommend 💚

Finally a one hitter that draws much cooler and no “last hit ash mouth”. Product delivers.
I absolutely love this piece. The calypso is amazing. As a pipe, as an addition to my bong, all around greatness. I have been recommending to literally everyone.
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: That’s awesome to hear — thank you! We’re thrilled you’re loving the Calypso and putting it to good use in every setup. Your support and word-of-mouth mean a lot to us. Appreciate you sharing the love and helping more people discover it! — The Crew
Great pipe! I love that it doesn’t have a flavor to it when I’m using it. I only taste the foliage. I’ve not had any issues with heat. Foliage stays lit till about 3/4 and then just either light and puff or ash and spark again till done. Big hitter here! This definitely lets me take big hits! And cleaning this thing is so easy! I’ve used it 5 times now and have really enjoyed the look and feel. The only drawback to it is that when using it in combination with the pirate pipe I find the packing chamber to be slightly narrow so that the foliage on the side where the lip of the sliding wall it holds foliage on both sides and waist a good bit of foliage when pulled out. Other than that it’s a really great piece!
Calypso Pipe™ – 5-Piece Stainless Steel Filter Pipe
Store owner replied: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re thrilled to hear that The Pirate Pipe delivers the clean flavor, smooth draw, and easy maintenance you were looking for. It’s great to know it’s performing exactly as intended. Here’s a Calypso tip that can make your session even cleaner: before pulling the pipe all the way out of the dugout, place your finger on the side of the pipe and give it a gentle spin. This helps any extra foliage fall neatly back into the chamber — no mess, no waste. Boom. Pow. We appreciate your feedback on the chamber fit and are continuously refining every detail to elevate the experience further. Thanks again for being part of the Willem David Crew.
The Calypso Pipe is hands down the best pipe I’ve ever used, and it’s the only one I reach for now. The built-in chambers that block tar and the simple cleaning process make it unbeatable. The screen keeps herbs from slipping through, and the clear design lets you easily see how much you have left. After just a couple of hits, the amount of tar it traps is unbelievable, and once you see it for yourself, you’ll never want to go back to another pipe. Absolute 10/10.

Treated well and that's all that needs to be said.
I love the pirate and calypso combo however the lighter holder on the pirate doesn’t hold my bic in tight and it slips out sometimes. Thats my only complaint. Easy fix I’m sure
Well I will definitely start out with it works awesome with a dynavap bowl and works great as a sneak a toke as well I definitely recommend if you are in to this style of vape or pipe.
These are stellar dugouts. Grabbed one for my beach trip I don’t know what I’d do with out it now.
Good one hitter nice to be able to have the option to use glass as well 👍
